Unit Overview

When the unit first started, and we began to talk about Language, Gender, and Culture, I really did not know what was going to be covered, what to expect, or what I was going to learn. Before this unit, I did not really know that there were so many tyrannies still existing in the world simply because that is something that I never really thought about. So many things in the world go unnoticed, and so many people stay quiet, but I did not know of such things before we started this unit.
The one thing that I really liked while doing this unit was the articles. We get articles in every unit to annotate and what not, and usually they do not get much attention from me. The articles of this unit were different because they had so much information, and gave me so many different examples and opinions about the subject we are learning.
As for me, this unit way by far the favorite. Not only did it show me new things, but I think it showed some people in our class things they did not know about themselves, and how to express themselves, myself included. There are times in this class that I have not liked so much, but this was not one of them. Am I the only one that felt this way?
