Honor Code

David Brook's article Honor Code states that men are far below women in school. That may be true, by the evidence he gives us. For example, a 11th grade boy is writing at the same level as an 8th grade girl which is shocking. However, have you realized that men are just not as mature as women in those years of their lives. Through out middle school, high school and even college, men are still maturing but after those years, of maturing they get serious with their lives. Men are far superior in the work place as ceos, military commandeers, government employees and even in the law deportment. At the end of the day, we can say women are smarter than men which is their strong suit. While men's strong suit is being involved with the workplace.

  1. I have to say that this article is intriguing to me because David Brooks states that boys are far below girls in the education system and they are most likely to have discipline problems. Even though males are said to be far behind than females in educational standards, the majority of people who are in government, law enforcement, serving in the military, etc., are males. Yes, there are females in these professions and more but men outweigh the number of women in many of these situations.

  2. I see what you're saying, but I don't agree with the part where you say men are far superior in the work place. That doesn't really make sense to me because I see women in top ranking spots in todays society in different places. I see women as CEOs and in the law department, but you're right that men outweigh women in this category but thats only because women are on the rise.
