The Indirectness and directness of men/women

In most modern society, we have half of indirectness and directness of men and women. I believe that when a man/woman is talking to some one close/comfortable/personally they tend to speak more directly to them because they know how they may react. However when its someone they just met or speaking to in terms of relationship they tend to speak indirect which allows them to give the person an opportunity to see how they feel about what they said. Today most people do speak in a indirectness tone because as i see it, we speak in that way because we don't want to say something the wrong way so we tend to make it seem like were not to interested  in the idea but we really are. For those that who speak in a more of indirectness is good thing because they will tell you what they want exactly and will tell someone how exactly it is. Now there is nothing wrong with how people speak whether its indirect or direct. i feel that it's depending on the person as well because for those that are shy they tend to speak indirect which allows them to now say what they really and then they don't get what hey do want. For people who are energetic and can speak in front of people and don't care what others say then they tend to be direct. I have noticed before that relationships that are direct with each other seem to last better because there speaking to each comfortably and understand one another, now those that are indirect may seem like that go around the question or answer which can cause conflict. So in the long run, i feel that being direct with others is going to get men/women somewhere they need to be in life way quicker.
