Hooked on a Myth, Is Braithwaite harming fish?

In "Hooked on a Myth" Victoria Braithwaite writes about how fish do feel pain, I do agree with Braithwaite about fish feeling pain, but there are some objections I have. First of all many people really don't think or know that fish have pain, because we use fish  as a source of food so theres no reason to really stop and think that I'm hurting this fish. I think that just harming a fish is wrong, if you just walk up and harm a fish for no apparent reason it's wrong, if you are catching a fish to eat then you have a legitimate reason to catch them. Like in the Article by Braithwaite she states that she injected a fish with bee venom and watched it to see how it would react to the poison and then gave it some pain killers. Even braithwaite hurts fish but for no reason she just did it for research purposes which is hurting a fish for no reason but for her own.
Another thing I want to say is that if Braithwaite wants to prove that a fish has pain or feeling (which she talks about later in the article) when she doesn't have that much evidence to support her argument other than just our pain receptors and brains are wired similar. If she wants to prove me wrong she is going to need to provide  me with more detailed evidence. Like an MRI of the fishes brain to see if any of the fishes brain is freaking out over the pain in its lip or the hook in its mouth.
Other what I have stated up above I rest my case still saying that she need to provide more logical evidence if she wants to turn heads to her side of the table.
