The point?

What's the point of doing something if you don't get recognition? That question might make me sound selfish or greedy but it is what it is. If I put blood, sweat, and tears into something I expect someone to say at least "good job". The only exception would be if it were my actual job. If the task was something I knew I asked for blood, sweat, and tears then a good job wouldn't be necessary; however, going above and beyond is a different story. Sometimes even a good job isn't needed, just knowing that someone believes in you and is there for you. I usually find myself needing others to give me a little boost in the right direction. I'm still young, I still need to depend on people, is asking for a little back up sometimes so hard?

  1. Hey Heidi, I know exactly how you fell! You start to question your self saying why did I even bother wasting my time along with blood, sweat and tears. A good job is the least somebody should tell you for doing whatever it's you're doing such as a: job, sports, being a good spouts and the list goes on forever. Well I would like to tell you GOOD JOB for whatever it's you did and no matter what others say or don't say to you, always know you did a good job. That is all that matters at the end of the day.
